Mason Chamberlin: This man was an English portrait painter who is best-known for his portrait of Benjamin Franklin. He also helped to found the Royal Academy of Arts in Piccadilly, London in 1768.


Mason Carter: This U.S. Army officer served during the American Civil War and the Indian Wars. He ended up receiving the Medal of Honor for successfully commanding a company of troops to charge against enemy fire during the Battle of Bear Paw. He was the first recipient of the Medal of Honor to be buried at the Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery when he died in 1909.
